Q: My windshield wiper fluid light is on my 2007 Nissan Maxima even though I just changed the fluid why?
A: The float is stuck.
Q: Which car would you buy and why.I need help making up my mind. The 2007 Toyota Camry or the 2007 Nissan Maxima?
Please help.Thank you
A: The Camry is somewhere in the spectrum of $5K-$7K cheaper than the Maxima. However, they're in different classes.
Just ask yourself : Why do you need to pick between the two? Are you going to be driving long commutes, wheeling around children? And just how important is gas mileage to you?
People who buy Maximas usually buy them because they're a good mix between luxury car and sports car. The Maxima has most of the bells and whistles of softer luxury cars, yet has the aggressiveness of a sports car.
Both are fairly comfortable, both are nice on the eyes, but the real separation for most people is the serious difference in power. The Maxima boasts a beefy V6 that puts out 255HP. The Camry outputs an estimated 155-160. The torque difference between the two cars is almost 90 ft/lbs..... which is a hell of lot more PUNCH that you're gonna get out of the Maxima.
The real differences between the two cars is the air of sophistication that the Maxima maintains while still boasting some serious power, compared to the more economic impact of the Camry.
Don't let anyone tell you that because it's a Toyota that it somehow magically gets the same mileage as something like the Prius. While it's true that Toyota's vehicles get better mileage than most American cars, and while it's true that the Maxima is a monster of a 4-door sedan, the mileage difference isn't too large.
Compare the Camry's 24MPG to the Maxima's 21MPG. If you have to gas up every week (complete fill up) you'll be spending about 5 dollars more per week on gas. A meal at McDonald's costs more than that.
I own both a Camry and a Maxima, and I can tell you this : They're both gonna last you a really long time. My Maxima's about to celebrate its 18th birthday, and it still runs fine (always has, minus the transmission and radiator fixes a few years back.... but then again, most cars suffer some kind of problem after 100,000 miles)
It's been nearly 200,000 miles, and I'm still running just fine on it. I can tell you that the comparison on these two cars is that the Maxima has a tendency to keep running with busted parts, as opposed to all of my toyotas that seem to crap out when something small goes wrong. (But then again, my Toyotas have crapped out on me less than the Maxima)
So, the real difference is this : Is having those extra 100 horses worth my $5,000 bucks?
Really, so far as I can tell, those are the only REAL considerations between the two. Is price and power.
Q: Is 33 thousand miles to much for a 2007 Nissan Maxima?
A: 12,000 a year is considered a good average. don't let them tell you that they were all highway miles, it still has 33,000 miles
Q: 2007 nissan maxima?
by the end of 2008, what should i expect to pay for a 2007 nissan maxima with bose, leather, and navigation system.
A: You pay what you think the car is worth. If it is an SE model the dealer should drop the price about $4000 from the sticker. $4500 if its an SL. Buying a new car thats one year old usually is a good deal. Especially for a Car as good as the Maxima
Q: How do you reset a maintenance reminder "oil change" on a 2007 Nissan Maxima?
A: if you have navigation go into trip settings, oil should come up if not check owners man for more detail
Q: What is the difference between a 2007 Nissan Maxima SE and SL?
A: Generally speaking, the SE is perhaps the sportier of the two, having standard 18" wheels and spoiler. The SL has 17" wheels, no standard spoiler, and the wood trim (usually). But the SE has standard cloth seats, the SL should have power leather seats with heaters.
One cool thing, if you can find it, is the Elite Package. '07 was the last year for it. It includes rear bucket seats (leather & heated), a center console that stretches the entire length of the cabin, and if my memory is correct a power shade for the back window. Cool beans if you can find one.
Q: What car should i get the 2006 or 2007 nissan maxima?
A: Definitely the 2007 because the inside and outside recieved a midlife re- freshening during this year. I think that one big difference is the engine the 2006 has the regular standard engine, but the 2007 has the CVT transmission. I would go with the 2007 though
Q: selling a new 2007 Nissan Maxima?
I just brought a 2007 Maxima three months ago and I wanted to know if it's possible to sell the vehicle. any advice? i'm leaving the country in september and i don't want to be repsonsible for a car loan. can some one give me advice on selling this new vehicle? should it be better if some one refinance it or buy it full price?
A: Either way get to work listing the car soon! You are likely going to loose money. Let's say you have 6,000 miles and have made two $450 car payments how much money was put down or trade in value? 2008 models in dealer showrooms now. The remaining new 2007 cars detract from anything but a discounted price. I just hope your car all the options like Navi and technology features. Take over payments might be an option. if the new owner can qualify for the loan. Always let the banks and finanncial institutions work out the details.
Q: I just bought a 2007 Nissan Maxima.. This is annoying and wastes gas.. What is it?
When I accelerate, whether I have the heat|a/c on or not, the car "blows" air or heat [based on what I have my tempature set at] at my and the passenger's feet.
Any reason why this happens?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks so much! Calling up my dealership now.

Q: What are the best mid-range tires for the 2007 Nissan Maxima SL?
I will need new tires in the next couple of months. I want a good, safe tire for my Nissan Maima. I've had quote from $450 to $850. What is realistic for this car. Like I said... I want a safe, dependable tire.
A: Toyo Proxes, Continetial Contact, Yokohama AVS. Or Bridgestone Pontenza RE-050 all very good and brands Nissan uses from the factory. Try on-line my friends at tirerack.com. Many local tire installers will meet tire rack prices. And tire rack can ship tires to an approved installer in your area. Use exactly the size on the drivers side door jamb sticker. Nissan engineers designed the suspension to work with that size tire.
Q: Does the 2007 Nissan Maxima SL need premium gas?
We recently bought a new 2007 Maxima SL. The book says to use premium grade gas but the dealer said they filled it up with 87 grade gas when the car was delivered to us.
A: A member of our firm would recommend that you follow the user’s manual rather than what the dealer says. Also, the window sticker may say, as well as the gas cap itself (It will say Premium Unleaded Only on the cap/in the fuel fill area if it is required). You might also try Nissan's Web site for the answer. There is a special area of the Web site that features helpful maintenance tips (http://www.nissanusa.com/owning/). You can also query Nissan directly. Q: Can a 2007 Nissan Maxima be outfitted with remote start even though it has the smart key?
I have a 2007 Nissan Maxima and I wanted remote start but I'm not sure if it can be put in because I have the smart key. Any help?
A: Personally I'd check with the/a dealership part/mantience dept....we once went to an independent to install one and a few months later had issues with starting, alarm.... just to name a few..... we just ended up disconnecting the remote
hope this answer helps :)
