Q: getting trade in back after backing out of a contract....?
We just signed the contract on a 2008 Nissan Armada. We traded a 2002 Nissan Xterra in for it. Driving the car home, I realized it was WAY too big for me and went back to the dealer ship to get out of the contract. We were told he was busy to keep the car till Monday and to come back and it will be a small fee to get out but they would work with us....WE GOT VERY LUCKY. After talking about it my husband and I decided that we just want our Xterra back and to get it paid off ( we have 2 years.) and and then go get a new car. Since we used a trade in plus 500 cash can we just get both back???

A: You are fortunate that the dealer took the car back. Since they un-done the deal there should be no problem giving the trade and down payment back.....remember, they said a small fee, and it is well worth it to back out. After all, you did take up there time... P.S. Take something nice to the salesperson, they just lost a sale and a commission. A gift certificate to a nice restaurant would be a nice thing to do...believe it or not, salespeople are people too! Also...you owe that saleperson a sale, send them a customer.

Q: GPS system?
We have a 2008 Nissan Armada LE. It has the screen in the front panel where you can see what song is playing and such. Is it possible to have a GPS installed in the screen? i don't want an external GPS. You should change your name: Brittney Is A Freak

Q: Can someone help me with choosing a car insurance?
I am confused as to what coverages are appropriate or not. I don't want to pay more for something I won't need like additional car rental service. Here is my situation so please help me. The cheaper the better 2000 Nissan Maxima driven maybe 5000 miles a year 2008 Nissan Armada driven 5000 miles a year. We both have clean records the past 5 years. We make a combined $72,000 a year, have $25,000 in cash, $30,000 in credit card debt (on 0% cards), $15,000 in school loans, $27,000 in car loans, and we do not own a home. So pretty much we own a few cars and nothing else that we own. Bodily injury? Personal Property Liability? Personal Injury Protection? Collision? Comprehensive? Uninsured Motorist? What are the limits or coverages for the categories I was wondering about? I am 31 and my wife is 29

A: Bodily injury? Personal Property Liability? this is your basic liability required by law Collision? Comprehensive? this will cover your car against collision or comprehensive damage Uninsured Motorist ? this will cover your injuries only against your own policy if you get hurt in an accident when the other driver does not have insurance best bet it to get 50 k pd 100k body injurly comp/collision if you have an xtra vehi you don't need rental and if you have health insurance you don't need uninsured motorist. and get several quotes but remember you pay for what you get so cheapest is not always best

Q: Nissan Security Plus?
I just recently bought a 2008 Nissan Armada but wasnt exactly happy when my payment ballooned up beyond what I targeted at because of the Nissan Security Plus plan that was added. Sounds like a good idea but then do I really need it? I stopped short of buying their top of the line Armada LE because of my initial targeted range price but then when the price of the plan was added it costs the same. I left that dealer with the car (not the LE) but with the feeling that Ive been had.

A: The extended warranty is not necessary but it just extends your bumper to bumper warranty up to 7yr 100K miles from 3yr 36,000 miles. If you are not satisfied contact your Nissan dealer you purchased it from and ask for them to take it off your contract and to resign it. If you just recently purchased it they are allowed to do this and that should put your payment lower.

A: Picky about your sunroof there are more and more gas guzzelers comming to market just be paitent there will be one with roof soon. Try one of the major leading auto brokers? Keep checking crags list e-bay motors. I don't expect to ever see cheep fuel again. I hope you take the fact those heavy trucks only get 10 to 13 miles a gallon around town. And only 14 to 17 highway. Hey they can carry 7 or 8 people around.

A: ewww you're driving suvs! thats so 2006!! don't you hate it when someone says that to you...i mean shut the **** up. i like suvs and if i dont mind paying the extra money at the pump, then so be it. i would try another dealer and see how much they would give you for the armada. but you should definetly think about leasing...these days you can get a better deal leasing than buying an even used car!

Q: Why does a 2008 Cadillac Escalade (SUV) cost way more than a 2008 Nissan Armada?
My y dad wants to buy a new SUV, and he really likes the Cadillac but he cant understand why it costs about $60,000 when a Armada costs about 40,000. The cadillac is more roomier than the nissan. They both have good luxury in the inside, and look good at the outside. The Nissan back seats can fold! Unlike the Escalade. What makes it cost so much??????

A: Because it's a Cadillac. There so much better than a Nissan any day of the week. Why you would want a useless SUV is a bigger question and spending $40,000 to 60,000 ion it is really something you need to think about.
